Hello, Sunshine! I can’t believe that Christmas is two and half weeks away! How did that happen? I’m almost done with Christmas shopping – how about you? I have a couple of people left on my list to buy things for, but that’s it.
The kids have been busy decorating our house. The girls have been so excited to put all of the Christmas knick-knacks. Our house is far from Pinterest perfect, but the decorations and designs are well-loved and the decorators enjoyed every minute of it.
I never had a bachelorette pad, but if I did, it would have been beautiful, modern, with sleek lines and feminine touches throughout. When I explored designs of interiors at Havenly, I found myself oohing and awwing at designs that were dainty and not kid-friendly. For the time being white furniture and accent pieces are out of the question, but nothing is stopping me from creating dream rooms and cocoa bars.

I’m a sucker for adorable animal art. The little Shih Tzu Santa is too cute not put up and it doesn’t hurt to be reminded to believe in the magic of the season. 😉
I added a puffy white stool, white and gold accent pillows and of course, a beautiful blush large knit throw. I’d love to snuggle with it next to a crackling fireplace and watch a movie.
The console table which is my hot cocoa bar requires six items: mini Christmas trees, star string lights, cocoa mugs, marshmallows, a brewer for hot water and of course, cocoa!
