Hello, Sunshine! Time for a random side note. Every time I hear the word dusty, I think of George Strait as Dusty in Pure Country. There’s something about it that’s super southern sounding. I’m so happy that instead of dusty rose, which sounds like bad 90s decor, we have blush to describe soft pink. Being a realtor, I’m transported back to the 90s when I show houses that are in desperate need of updating and have lovely dusty rose and mint green kitchens and baths. Anyway, let’s focus on the beauty of blush.
Pink is my favorite color and blush is a great option if you’re not a fan of bright girlie pink. Here are some beautiful blush options for your wardrobe.
Accessories
Michael Kors Women’s Chronograph Runway Twist Blush Bracelet Watch – I have this watch and receive so many compliments on it. It’s feminine and I love the little twists on the bracelet and crystal face on it.
Morganite Ring – This ring is simply beautiful. Morganite is a member of the Beryl family and was once used to ward off evil spirits. It’s also supposed to bring good luck, positive energy, youthfulness and protect you while traveling. In other words, it’s magic!
La Mer Collections Golden Aspen Leaf Charm Wrap Watch in Blush – So, I love this because it’s a layered version of a watch and bracelet. And we know that I love the layered look. I think the aspen leaves are the perfect little touch for fall.
Handbags
Alexander McQueen Heroine Mini Shoulder Bag – This bag totally reminds me of a take out box and I love it. I think every time I would open it up to get something mundane out like my wallet, I’d mentally be thinking that I’m going to be getting a yummy treat.
Victoria Beckham Liberty Leather Tote – Who knew Posh Spice made such cute bags? This bag reminds me of a beautiful leather dance bag I had when I was still dancing. Oh, the memories. I need to find a ballet class ASAP!
Yves Saint Laurent Mini Leather Bowling Bag – With name like bowling bag, what isn’t there to love? Everything about this bag is dainty and feminine. Perfect for moi!
Tops
Free People Shredded Muscle Tee – So I was cheerleader and a ballerina. Crazy, huh? I used to have a shredded cheer shirt I would wear over my leotard while warming up before class. I think this shirt would be adorable with a bright tank under it. It would add a nice pop of color.
3.1 Phillip Lim Cool Easy Chic Tee in Blush – Because your style should be cool, easy, chic!
INC International Concepts Sequin Cap Sleeve – I may be a grown-up, but I still like a little sparkle in my life. Sparkle not glitter.
Skirts
Hervé Léger Eden Two Tone Bandage Flared Mini Skirt – I like the two tone detail on this skirt. The waist reminds me of a ballet skirt and here I go again…
Gabriella Rocha Sophey Skirt – I have a similar skirt shaped like this and let me tell you, it makes your waist look tiny! I was worried it would make me look like I had wide hips, but instead it flatters your waist.
Milly Lace 3/4 Skirt – I like pairing a simple solid top with lace skirts. A solid grey top adds a bit of muscle to a very feminine skirt.
Heels
Steve Madden Varcityy – I think the cutouts in these pumps make it a little va va voom. It’s sexy without going overboard.
Christian Louboutin Charleen Mary Jane Pumps – First off, they’re Louboutin. Swoon. There’s something retro, Mad Men-ish about these that I love.
Olsenboye Rumer Ankle Strap Heels – These adorable pumps are from JC Penney. I like the simple and dainty look of strappy heels. It’s nice not having to trap your pointy toe shoes.
