Hello, Sunshine! Can you believe summer is almost over? I can’t. This is my kids’ final week off before the new school year starts. I swear summer break goes by faster and faster each year. As you know, we’ve been on vacation and I want to share with you my experience with JetBlue Getaways.
Sticker Savvy Shopper
I’m notorious for spending endless, painful hours searching for the best deal. Seriously, I have major issues with overpaying for something. I will toss and turn for nights after I make a big ticket purchase. There’s something about spending thousands of dollars that makes me sick to my stomach.
My kids have talked about going to Atlantis non-stop since we returned home from the last time we went three years ago. We decided to return again this year and I searched for at least two months for the best deal. I’m not kidding when I tell you that I can over-analyze anything. My husband says I have analysis paralysis.
Anyway, I saw on the Atlantis website an ad for great deals from Orlando to Nassau from JetBlue. My curiosity got the best of me, so I began searching the JetBlue website for airfares based on lowest fares for various dates. Then I discovered a little gem, JetBlue Getaways.
One Stop Shopping
So I’ve used travel bundling websites in the past and I’ve had major success with them. This was the first time I’ve booked a complete package through an airline. By using JetBlue Getaways, I was able to take advantage of the $200 off airfare discount Atlantis was running on their website and combine it with a discounted airfare rates from JetBlue on their site. I saved about $200 dollars booking through JetBlue Getaways.
Great Customer Support
When my confirmation arrived in my email I noticed that my total dollar amount was correct, but that my trip was extended for one night at the hotel. I called the U.S. reservation number and they were able to sort out the mess. The hotel’s computer system had made the mistake when confirming my reservation, but customer support was able to resolve the issue with no problem.
TrueBlue Family Points
As a family, we earned major points on this trip by booking our JetBlue flights and hotel stay together. We earned 6 points per eligible dollar on our vacation package and trust me, we earned a lot! In the future we can pay for our trip using a combination of Cash + TrueBlue Points. And with TrueBlue family pooling, we are able to combine all of our points together and earn rewards faster. Maybe I’ll reward myself with a girls weekend.
Do like I did and save mucho dinero on vacation packages when you book your flight and hotel together from JetBlue Getaways
I loved saving money on our family vacation. The entire family appreciated the kind, helpful airline staff and of course, the free televisions on the flights were definitely kid approved.
