Hello, Sunshine! I have a confession to make. I’ve never really been a big fan of Spring Cleaning. Maybe it’s because I worry about all of the dust and outdoor allergens that would trigger my allergies. Even though I’m staying away from heavy duty Spring cleaning, I’m slowly purging my closet and dresser drawers.
Spring Clean Your Closet
This is the easiest and yet scariest place to start. I can’t count all of the times I’ve stood in front of my clothes hanging in my closet wondering why I still have some pieces hanging in there. We don’t have a very large closet and we utilize every little inch. Those jeans that don’t fit after baby number 3 – donate them. That shirt that is stretched out – toss them. I had a giant bag filled with ill-fitting, worn-out clothes after 15 minutes.
Spring Clean Your Dresser
My dresser is home to my jammies, workout clothes, socks, and intimates. I have bleached stained jammies that I really needed to toss. I clean in my jammies which lead to said bleach stains. I also had stretched out yoga pants that needed to go. Adios!
Spring Clean Your Bras
I don’t know why, but tossing out bras can be intimidating. I don’t know if it’s because I spend a lot buying them, or if it’s comforting having old faithful to comfort and cradle the girls.
ThirdLove has shared this helpful infographic so you can know when it’s time to toss your bras.
