Entertainment for Kids
Sunday we went the Tampa Bay Rays vs. Baltimore Orioles game. I wasn’t sure how long Lulu would last. Nine innings are a lot of time for a two-year-old. In the sixth inning I pulled out my Barnes & Nobel NOOK to entertain Lulu. She LOVED playing the bowling game. Gracie has downloaded the bookshelf app onto our new tablet. It has been wonderful listening to her read her current level of books to Lulu at night. Lulu loves pointing to the pictures on the screen while Gracie reads. It’s been a great bonding experience for the two of them.
Entertainment and Working Partner for Mama
The last book I read was a 400 page law-book. It wasn’t exciting and I fell asleep several times when I read it. I spend three hours every Saturday mornings at Gracie’s dance school. That’s a lot of time for me to sit there with nothing to do.
I know I’m late to the game, but JD and I recently discovered Aziz Ansari. I’ve been desperate for funny in my life and we’ve watched two of his comedy specials on Netflix. His book, Modern Romance, is one of the first books I’m going to read on my NOOK by Samsung. I really like to read comedy books and I love it when a book makes me laugh out loud.
