This is a sponsored post. I was given a personalized Custom Star Map in return for my honest opinion.
Hello, Sunshine! I’m a big fan of unique and personalized pieces of art. When an art piece tells a story I feel like I’m in on a secret. As much as I like art and especially one-of-a-kind pieces, I have zero artistic talent to create my own art. It’s something I’m working on, but for now, I’ll leave it up to the experts.
Here’s a little secret I’ll let you in on. My anniversary is coming up and I thought that a star map of the date that my husband I met would be a great gift for him. Here’s a mockup of what that looked like:
But here’s the problem, I couldn’t remember the exact date we met. I know that it was my first day of work at my first big girl job in Las Vegas, but I wasn’t 100% sure on the date.
Because I couldn’t remember the date I decided to create a map of our actual wedding date. We were married in Colorado, at the base of the Colorado National Monument. The monument was the perfect majestic backdrop for our big day.
I wish that I would have taken a moment to gaze up at the stars on our wedding night. I was so exhausted afterward that I fell asleep in the limo back to the hotel. I had a great time celebrating with our family and friends at our reception. Thank goodness my custom star map shows me how beautiful and magical the stars were that night.
I already had custom constellations made of our astrological signs created and I knew that my star map would be the perfect addition to my star collection. My girls love finding all of the constellations in our star map.
When you create your custom map you have so many options to create the perfect piece for you. You can choose custom colors, fonts, captions, borders and my favorite, constellations!
With wedding season upon us a personalized custom star map would be an awesome wedding gift that the happy couple would love forever! You could also create a map to celebrate the birth of a child. My kids would love to have one created for them and gifted to them on their birthdays.
You can find Modern Map Art on their website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
