Hello, Sunshine! I’m seriously a girlie girl through and through. I would much rather wear skirts and dresses than jeans or pants any day of the week. Plus, my post three baby body doesn’t quite fit into jeans the same as it used to – and that’s totally okay! I dress for the body I have and not the body I dream of. Because I have a smaller waist and wider hips I have a few go-to stores that I love to shop at that offer clothing that flatters me and Express is one of my all time favorites.
Last week I celebrated my birthday and no, I won’t share my age. I was gifted a couple of Express gift cards and I decided to put them to good use. Lulu and I spent my birthday shopping at Express and we found some fun stuff.

I love that Express always has coupons you can use and for the past two weeks they have been offering an additional 40% off of their clearance items. Double score!

FLORAL PLAID HIGH WAIST FULL SKIRT – I wasn’t sure if I’d like a high waited skirt or not. I was terrified that it would make my birthing hips look extra roomy, but instead it flatters my smaller waist which is always a positive. I love the floral pattern and the fullness of the skirt.
GRAPHIC MUSCLE TANK – CALIFORNIA 76 – I’ve never lived in California, but I’ve always wanted to. I was born to be a Cali girl. Seriously, California is amazing. It has an amazing outdoor lifestyle that I adore with both beaches and mountains. I bought this shirt to display my love for California and it was on clearance.
SEQUIN EMBELLISHED MINI SKIRT – I really like the pops of color and shapes on this skirt. I was hesitant about buying a tribal print skirt, but I think I can transition it throughout the seasons.

FOIL EMBELLISHED SWING CAMI – It’ll be hot here until mid January when we may see a cool day. I wear camis and tanks all year round and the foil embellishment adds a fun pop to the cami.
SEQUIN DIAMOND MINI SKIRT – I needed something to wear the foil cami with and every girl needs a little black skirt, so voila! These sequin skirts are cotton lined and keep you from getting scratched by the sequins.
LACE TOPPED SWING CAMI – Surprisingly this cami is versatile. You can dress it down with a pair of jeans or dress it up with skirt. I purchased this skirt to go with the cream sequin mini skirt and wore it out for my birthday dinner. It was another clearance score.

PRINTED SMOCKED WAIST MINI SKIRT – I live for comfortable skirts and this skirt is just that. It’s a staple piece you can find in my wardrobe. I found this online in the clearance sale and I paid $10 for it.
SCOOP NECK GRAPHIC TEE – COLORADO GIRL – I’m a born and raised Colorado girl. I really miss it in the summer, but not the winter. Sorry guys that you’re freezing. I’m proud to tell everyone I’m from Colorado and now this shirt does it for me.
COLORFUL STRIPED DRESS – I committed the ultimate sin by having hips and ordering this dress off of their website. I looked beyond horrible in this dress. You need to have a stick straight body to pull this off or be pregnant with an adorable belly. I really liked to show off my baby bump and probably would have liked a dress like this then, but now no, it was awful.
