I’ve been thinking of creative ways to include protein into delicious treats and thought why not edible gluten free chocolate chip cookie dough protein balls? We love cookie dough, but who doesn’t? I know you’re not supposed to eat raw dough because of the raw eggs in it, but this recipe is egg free and completely edible! Win!
Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Balls
Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Balls

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter, softened to room temp.
- 3/4 cup Wholesome Sweeteners Fairtrade Organic Raw Blue Agave
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 1/4 cup Domata Gluten-Free Recipe Ready Flour
- 1 scoop of Whey Vanilla Protein Powder
- Pinch of Salt
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 3/4 cup Mini Dark Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Combine and stir softened butter with the agave in a medium sized bowl
- Add the vanilla and continue to stir
- Stir in the scoop of vanilla protein powder and add the pinch of salt into the mixture
- Add the flour and milk in small doses making sure to completely blend
- Toss in the mini dark chocolate chips and mix it together with your hands
- Place the bowl in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to chill
- Once chilled, pinch a small amount of dough and roll into desired sized cookie dough balls

I only eat a couple of gluten free chocolate chip cookie dough protein balls throughout the day because they are treats and we all deserve a treat sometimes. I love these simple, on-the-go, pop in your mouth bites of protein deliciousness.
So far the balls have been a hit in our house. I’m working on new various recipes to create new protein balls for my family to enjoy. I have a feeling the variety is endless and that excites me!
