Botanical Body Mist

Oh my goodness, this is the most amazing product! When I first saw the Botanical Body Mist I thought, “oh, another body spray.” But I was so wrong!

I was pleasantly surprised that a little spritz of this on my body would leave my skin so silky soft! I didn’t have to fight that awful sticky feeling and the scent is so invigorating. What makes this mist so amazing it that it offers anti-aging performance providing ECGC with each spray.

This multi-purpose body mist offers an alternative to heavy creams for your skin. It is a wonderful anti-aging, refreshing, skin hydration in a mist. Truly amazing!

Nourishing Lip Crème

Lately my lips have been obscenely dry. I was so excited to try this lip crème. Mainely Cole’s Nourishing Lip Crème is made with organic aloe leaf juice, DMAE, organic rooibos tea and pomegranate which aides in exfoliating dryness and deeply hydrates lips.

The directions on the jar suggest applying to lips and surrounding skin. I applied this overnight and my lips felt refreshed in the morning.  I didn’t apply it to the skin surrounding my lips because I do not know if it is a non-comedogenic moisturizer and I didn’t want to risk the change of a break-out. But, I would highly suggest using it on your lips!

Custom Made Soap Bars

Typically I am not a fan of bars of soap. Soap bars really dry my skin out. My skin often feels itchy and irritated after using such products.

Initially I was hesitant to try my Honeysuckle bar. I recently travelled to Chicago and brought my Honeysuckle bar on the trip with me. The all natural ingredients in this bar make a huge difference. The essential oils and goat’s milk add a much needed nourishing element missing from so many bars of soap. And the scent is sublime!

Even if you’re like me and have issues with ordinary bars of soap, I would suggest trying this all-natural bar. Your skin will thank you!

This is a very rare genetic disorder that arises randomly when one of the 14^th chromosomes mutates in such a way that the ends of this chromosome fuse together to form a ring structure; genetic material is often lost in this process.  The consequences of this syndrome can be varied but are often profound.  Children with this syndrome often have low muscle tone, slow growth, mild to severe learning disabilities, limited large and small motor skills, digestive problems, immune deficiencies and a severe form of epilepsy that is mostly drug resistant.  Life is a struggle for these children.  Children with other anomalies on the 14th chromosome (such as deletions, translocations or UPD ‘s-uniparental disomy ) share many of these same problems.

I love the Olay Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System. This little brush does wonders for my skin. I used to have a Clean and Clear blackhead eraser, but it was discontinued. I’ve always wanted a  Clarisonic brush, but at $150 I had to find  a frugal option.

Since purchasing my Olay Professional Pro-X brush, I have received numerous comments on my skin looking great. My husband said my skin looked younger too! So if my husband noticed a difference, the man in your life will too!

The Olay Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System is a great deal on Amazon for $26.

For years I have used St Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish & Blackhead Control. Other than noticing my blackheads would be more noticeable if I didn’t use it, I didn’t get any real  results from the product. I have always liked Philosophy products, so I was excited when I stumbled upon Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash.

I thought about trying the more expensive brands of exfoliators, but settled on Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash. I am very happy with the results. Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash does not contain large chunks of apricot like St Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish & Blackhead Control, but the results are 10 times better.

One time for delivery from Amazon is $25, but if you Subscribe and Save it becomes $21.25. I highly recommend Subscribe and Save and will do another post on this later.

Formula 10.0.6 So Totally Clean is the most amazing toner I have purchased. It is really inexpensive too! I found it at Ulta for $5.99. I have used toners ranging in prices from $15 – $30 and these toners do not compare to Formula 10.0.6 So Totally Clean.

My skin feels so clean and refreshed after each swipe of the cotton ball containing Formula 10.0.6 So Totally Clean. I think you can actually feel your skin breath, pores tighten, and oil fade away after each use of Formula 10.0.6 So Totally Clean.

For $6 how can you go wrong?

For a long time I did not apply moisturizer to my skin since I moved to Florida. My former normal skin type has turned oily with the humidity found in the Sunshine state. I realized the older I get, the more my skin needs a moisturizer to fight wrinkles and the signs of aging.

Formula 10.0.6 Matte-Finish Moisturizer, is an oil-free moisturizer containing bamboo extract to soak up excess oil. The result is a soft, smooth and shine-free complexion that lasts the entire day. I only use a tiny amount in the morning, but I apply it liberally in the evening.  Formula 10.0.6 Matte-Finish Moisturizer gives my skin much needed dose of moisturizer, without leaving my skin oily and shiny.

I finish my twice-a-day routine with Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10. Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 dries the extra oil your skin produces. This oil is what leads to blackheads and pimples. I use Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 twice-a-day, but you have to build your skin’s tolerance for the product. Clean & Clear Persa-Gel  10 will dry your skin, but that’s the goal!

Warning, Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 contains benzoyl peroxide and will bleach your clothes. Wait a few minutes and make sure Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 is dry before putting a shirt on. Your clothes will thank me.

My routine is simple and relatively inexpensive. I’ve noticed a change in my skin using these products. The good news, even a girl on budget can have Hollywood glamorous skin.

My 19-month-old and 5–year-old have the softest skin. I remember my skin being “soft as a baby’s bottom” but sadly those days are gone.

Being a 20-something with two young children and running my own business I rarely have time to pamper myself or my skin. I have combination skin and after two babies, I sometimes have to fight adult acne. I am always looking for natural products to help extract impurities and shrink my pores.

Wow! What a heavy, bright jar I thought as I opened my package from Future Face. The black and green jars are very eye-catching and the smell is enticing once opened. The scent reminded me of an Aveda or Origins store; very botanical and clean smelling.

I began using my Milk Cleanser that night. I was impressed. My eyeliner, mascara, foundation and blush magically disappeared. I didn’t have to scrub or reapply the cleanser to remove any residue or leftover make-up. We all know the difficulty in removing mascara and eyeliner. Many of us suffer from deep pores. Unfortunately, the pores become clogged leading to unsightly blackheads and acne.

Often we use drug store products that pull-out blackheads, but do nothing to shrink pores or eliminate blackheads. We’ve all looked at the nose strip full of blackheads wishing there was a way to keep new ones from appearing.

For years I have used Biore’s nose strips hoping to unclog my pores. A few days later, the same pores would be clogged again with unsightly blackheads, Yuck!

Nine days. Nine short days and my free samples from Mario Badescu arrived. I have to admit, I was skeptical. I read on other sites that some people never received samples. And for others it took up to six weeks for their samples to arrive.

Last night I tried the products. They were amazing. My face still feels clean and soft this morning: not bumpy, dirty and oily.
