I’m in love with Kalea Rose’s Revive Hair Complex. It is a wonderful detangling and conditioning spray. 

I have long, dyed red hair. I try not to dry, curl, or use a straight iron on my hair to keep it long and healthy. Because it is long, I have to use a hair detangler on it after every shower to remove knots creating during lathering and rinsing. For years I have used Suave For Kids Detangler and Johnson’s Kids No More Tangles Spray Detangler on my hair.

When I was asked to review Kalea Rose’s Revive Hair Complex, I was thrilled. A grown-up detangler for my hair with an added sun filter. How could I refuse?

Kalea Rose’s Revive Hair Complex is a leave-in penetrating conditioner with amino acids. It helps prevent split ends by strengthening your hair’s elasticity. And it protects your hair from the sun with sunscreen.

Living in Florida, I need to protect my hair from the sun’s damaging rays. My hair is not naturally red, so the sun filter in Revive helps me maintain a bright, vibrant red hue.

The detangler in Revive is amazing! I don’t have to struggle to comb out my hair after my shower. After a few sprays of Revive, the comb smoothly runs through my hair. 

Revive is wonderful for girls getting ready for snowboarding or ski season. While you’re out enjoying the fresh powder, Revive will add much needed moisture to heal and repair damaged hair caused by dry winter weather.

Revive has reduced my split ends and leaves my hair so soft and shiny. Everywhere I go, people compliment my beautiful, radiant hair. It is such a nice compliment to receive.

Kalea Rose’s Revive Hair Complex is not only a great detangler, it makes your hair sparkle.

It was a hectic summer for me. My sister and sister-in-law were both married, my husband started a new career which led to us relocating and my little man started school. There was no me time. It had been three months since I visited a salon.

When I realized I couldn’t get my comb through my hair and it consisted of three various shades of red, I scheduled a salon appointment. For me it’s always nerve-racking going to a new stylist. You never know if they know what they’re doing or if you’ll leave with a terrible style.

My husband kept insisting to me that bangs are back in style. Nice subtle hint dude. Great, additional added stress.

All I could think of as I stepped into the salon was “I hope this girl know how to color, cut in a straight line and not give me mushroom bangs.” When I sat in the stylist chair she understood that I wanted red, not orange hair. She  picked-out a pretty dark, cherry red. So far so good.

After sitting in the chair for two hours, my butt was beyond numb. I was excited to get-up and have my hair washed. I successfully made my way to the wash bowl. She rinsed my hair and applied a glaze. Another 20 minutes of sitting and waiting. I think I may have fallen asleep at that point.

She washed my hair and asked me to go back to the stylist chair. That’s when it happened. Time for a side note, I was a ballerina for 20 years. I can dance on my tippy-toes, but I’m known to fall down two-steps and roll my ankle at the same time.

So I began my graceful decent from the wash bowl to the styling chair. As I sat in the chair, my right foot caught the left side of the footrest. The wall was quickly coming at me and I completed a beautiful curtsey.

I managed to pick myself up, untangle my legs and gracefully composed myself in the stylist chair. I definitely gave my stylist a memorable first impression. I ended up with beautiful red hair, a great trim and bangs, and a bruised ankle, wrist and ego. Not bad for my first day back at the salon.

Keeping red hair a vibrant hue is difficult. It is the fastest color to fade.

I recently dyed my hair from golden blond, to a rich radiant auburn. I love it! I have green eyes and fair skin. The red really makes my eyes pop.

I changed my hair color for several reasons. I have long hair and refuse to cut it.

An easy way to change the look, color it. Voila! New style.

I also switched colors as a way to save money in this down economy. No visible re-growth means fewer trips to the salon. Cha-Ching!

My wonderful stylist Brooke did an amazing job. When I went in for the transformation, the lady at the station next to me was questioning my choice of going red. I wasn’t worried, I was excited.

Brooke wanted to surprise me and not show my new hair until everything was finished. She kept my back to the mirror until my reveal. The result was more than I could ask for.

As I was heading to the Matrix hair display Brooke stopped me. She told me to save my money and purchase John Frieda Radiant Red Color Captivating Daily Shampoo with Light Enhancers 8.45 fl oz (250 ml) and John Frieda Radiant Red Color Last Conditioner 8.45 oz.

I hugged Brooke and headed out to purchase my shampoo and conditioner. While in the aisle I saw John Frieda Collection Luminous Color Glaze Radiant Red Deeper, Richer Red – 192ml/6.5oz.

I was all loaded up with my new hair products, crossing my fingers it would work. Two days later, I used all three products. When I went to check out my hair in the mirror, I was pleasantly surprised. My hair was still a rich, vibrant red.

It has been a month since I became a ravishing red head. My hair is still beautiful, shiny and healthy. I was concerned the color would fade and I would be running around with nasty re-growth, but the Radiant Red hair products kept my hair from fading.
