    We should stop playing the Teen Mom blame game. Who should be blamed for teenage moms? Teenage girls and boys who have sex and have babies. Yep, I said it. The blame lays squarely on the teens who decide to have sex. Dr. Michelle Gollard at Momlogic.com would like you to not blame MTV and its shows 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom for the increase in teenage pregnancies. Of course you cannot blame MTV. Viacom, MTV’s parent company saw an opportunity to produce shows depicting what is happening with teenagers and viola! New hit shows were born. (no pun intended) But here is where I disagree with Dr. Gollard. Dr. Gollard suggests, “Have the government support massive, consistent, long-term public-education campaigns via the Internet, television, films, radio, billboards, pharmacies and health-care providers.
