Keeping red hair a vibrant hue is difficult. It is the fastest color to fade.

I recently dyed my hair from golden blond, to a rich radiant auburn. I love it! I have green eyes and fair skin. The red really makes my eyes pop.

I changed my hair color for several reasons. I have long hair and refuse to cut it.

An easy way to change the look, color it. Voila! New style.

I also switched colors as a way to save money in this down economy. No visible re-growth means fewer trips to the salon. Cha-Ching!

My wonderful stylist Brooke did an amazing job. When I went in for the transformation, the lady at the station next to me was questioning my choice of going red. I wasn’t worried, I was excited.

Brooke wanted to surprise me and not show my new hair until everything was finished. She kept my back to the mirror until my reveal. The result was more than I could ask for.

As I was heading to the Matrix hair display Brooke stopped me. She told me to save my money and purchase John Frieda Radiant Red Color Captivating Daily Shampoo with Light Enhancers 8.45 fl oz (250 ml) and John Frieda Radiant Red Color Last Conditioner 8.45 oz.

I hugged Brooke and headed out to purchase my shampoo and conditioner. While in the aisle I saw John Frieda Collection Luminous Color Glaze Radiant Red Deeper, Richer Red – 192ml/6.5oz.

I was all loaded up with my new hair products, crossing my fingers it would work. Two days later, I used all three products. When I went to check out my hair in the mirror, I was pleasantly surprised. My hair was still a rich, vibrant red.

It has been a month since I became a ravishing red head. My hair is still beautiful, shiny and healthy. I was concerned the color would fade and I would be running around with nasty re-growth, but the Radiant Red hair products kept my hair from fading.

Nine days. Nine short days and my free samples from Mario Badescu arrived. I have to admit, I was skeptical. I read on other sites that some people never received samples. And for others it took up to six weeks for their samples to arrive.

Last night I tried the products. They were amazing. My face still feels clean and soft this morning: not bumpy, dirty and oily.

My sister recently purchased Mario Badescu’s Acne Repair Kit. All the girls in Ulta were raving about how great the kit was. I was sure I had to try it.

A week later, I made a trip to my local Ulta looking to buy the repair kit. While standing in the aisle trying to keep my 4-year-old and 5-month-old entertained, another girl, Leslie, was stocking up on Mario Badescu’s products.

Leslie said she was getting married in four months and wanted to put her best face forward. She had tried Dermalogica, but thought the products were over-priced. She recently discovered Mario Badescu and loved the products.

I looked every where on the website for the free sample page and could not find it anywhere. Disheartened, I filled out the skin questionnaire to discover if Mario Badescu Skin Care Can Bring You Beautiful Skin .  I signed up for emails from Mario Badescu and wrote down the suggested products to purchase on my next adventure to Ulta.

This morning, I checked my email and there it was. An email from Mario Badescu that read:

Based on the answers you provided, we’ve developed a full regimen tailored to fit your skin care needs. For your reference, we have listed your recommended products below. We are so confident about the results you will achieve that we would like to send you some free samples so that you can try our products before you decide to purchase them.

My skin has been acne prone during and after my last pregnancy. I have never had skin problems until now. I am excited to try the samples. I will update my critique of the products and whether or not I will purchase any or all of the products.
