Reebok’s EasyTone – Does it Work?

You’ve seen the commercials, but does the shoe tone your lower body? Reebok claims: EasyTone is designed to help give definition to your legs and butt. Simply walk and let the balance pods under your shoe do the rest. The slight instability created by the pods forces your muscles to work a little harder, toning up as you strut. The more you walk, the more you’ll tone. Technically speaking your gluteal gluteus maximus will get 25% more of a workout.  And your hamstrings and claves will have to try 11% harder.*   My sister purchased these shoes for me as Christmas gift from Shoebuy.com. Eat More Tomatoes and Boost Your Body’s Natural Fighting Power

Lycopene in tomatoes has been the subject of numerous studies the last several years. Lycopene has been extensively studied for its antioxidant and cancer-preventing properties. Productivity vs. Activity – For Moms

Originally posted by my husband, I adapted it for mothers. Moms are busy all day chasing around their kids, taking care of their husbands, feeding the family pet and maybe doing something for herself. There are times during the day I’m happy to have a potty break by myself. We run around all day talking about how busy we are, but at the end of the day we feel as if we never really accomplished anything.  Often, we are very active, but not productive.  When we do have a free moment, we are often wasting our time. Simple time-wasting activities can be productive if we change our approach. What are you busy doing? Activity Productivity hanging out on facebook setting up a mommy-and-me date while on facebook reading a blog reading a blog about animals to your kids going to the gym exercising by going on a family...

Whether it’s trying to find the perfect gift, fighting the crowds and rude people, or unfortunately the lack of spending money, you are sure to find a moment of frustration. Here are a few things you can do to help ease your way through any stressful situation.    Be cheerful. It deflates other stress and anxiety.  Be flexible. Don’t stress when expectations are not met.  Push away negativity of any kind. Think happy thoughts and count your blessings. Silence your phone at night. Sing Christmas carols with your kids. Have a date night with your honey instead of checking your BlackBerry. Give yourself "me" time. Eat right and exercise, it will do wonders for your mood. Drink healthy White Teas from Teavana and cuddle up in your favorite blanket.  Laugh and smile more often. Remember you can only change yourself.  Kiss someone. Smooching unleashes chemicals...
