Everyday is a Ray of Sunshine . . . Sometimes you just have to look through the clouds. (At least that’s what I tell myself when the going gets tough.)
Back in the day I was a prima ballerina. If I wasn’t wearing my pointe shoes, I was promoting the local radio station or off on the runway somewhere.
As a kid, I always wanted to be an attorney. I could win any argument and many teachers said I would be a natural. But after researching the educational cost of becoming a lawyer, I changed my mind. I didn’t want to be beholden to any school, bank or the government for that insane amount of money. Instead, I earned a B.A. in Broadcasting and Public Relations and dreamt of becoming a highly sought after publicist in Nashville.
But life happened. I moved to Las Vegas after graduating college and three short (very, very short) months later, I found myself pregnant with my son. I am fortunate to be married to my baby’s daddy and it has been pure bliss since. (Yes, this statement in dripping with sarcasm.) I have an amazing son who is the apple of my eye and my daughter is the little girl I always dreamt of.
I am a newly 30-year-old work-at-home mommy (WAHM). I own my property management company and deal with unbelievable craziness everyday.
My Rays of Sunshine is a reflection of my life. It is my imaginative inner-dialogue, observations of the world around me, and the dreams and desires I have for myself and my family.
This is my journey of random ramblings of a girl trying to do it all.
